The Proposal

One of our favourite things to do together was to have a picnic or a walk along the river in Southbank, Brisbane. Our favourite spot was this green area with a fountain and surrounding gardens filled with flowers and vegetables. So it was only fitting it was the spot Phil decided to pop the question! He pre organised a beautiful lunch by the river after and organised for the proposal to be captured so we have lasting photo memories of that special moment! It was a total and beautiful surprise  🙂

Wedding Day Highlights

– Wearing my dream wedding dress
 – When we first saw one another as I was walking down the isle
 –  The feeling happiness walking down the aisle and seeing so many people from so many parts of our lives, all in one place.
 – The bubbles everywhere when doing the group photo outside
 – All our vendors taking such good cares of us, especially Cath for all your support on our journey to the big day.
 – Our first dance
 – Having beautiful photos to look back on
 – The incredible flower bouquets and buttons holes from Pele and Maleny montiville florist
 – Pastor Lionels ceremony. Lionel made us both feel comfortable and relaxed however a little worried at one point when he was holding two full glasses of red wine near my white dress haha.
 – The timing of the music when the song paused as the doors opened in the chapel and Dad and i walked down the isle.
 – Spending the day with all the people we loved, so many hugs and so much champagne.
Overall we both felt content and calm! As we were feeling so happy and excited as it was the day we officially become husband and wife.

A Special Moment

In 2016 we did a Europe trip together, our first time away on holiday which was super special and it was shortly after our engagement! When we were in the Rhine Valley we brought a bottle of ice wine which is meant to be enjoyed on a special occasion. We finally got to enjoy this after the reception ended where we could relax, enjoy the wine and reflect on what a beautiful (yet tiring) day it was.
